Born in 1965 in Saratov. Graduated from the technical university.
Was engaged in science, taught. In 1993 graduated from
the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors (workshop
of Grigory Chukhrai). He received the jury special prize
“Leopards of the Future” at the IFF in Locarno for the yearly
essay “Mr. Economidi’s Sleep”. In the 90ties he worked at the
Nizhne-Volzhsky studio of newsreel. In 1998 he was the
author and director of TV programme “Kanon” at the TV6
Moscow channel. In 1999-2001 – editor-in-chief of the
Religious Broadcasting Service of satellite TV network AST.
Since 2003 has become director of the non-commercial partnership
“Proizvodyashtsaya televizionnaya compania”.
Родился в 1965 году в Саратове.
Окончил технический
университет. Занимался наукой, преподавал.
В 1993-м
окончил ВКСР, мастерскую Григория Чухрая. За курсовую
работу «Сон господина Экономиди» получил специальный
приз жюри «Леопарды будущего» на МКФ в Локарно. В
90-е годы работал на Нижне-Волжской студии кинохрони-
ки. В 1998 - автор и режиссер программы «Канон» на ТВ6
Москва. В 1999-2001 годах – шеф-редактор Службы
религиозного вещания спутниковой телесети АСТ. С 2003
года - режиссер-постановщик в Некоммерческом партнерстве «Производящая телевизионная компания».
