Born in 1973 in Leningrad. Graduated from VGIK (workshop of Marlen Khutsiev). She edited and co-wrote the screenplays for Bakur Bakuradze's films "The Hunter" (participant in the Un Certain Regard competition at the Cannes Film Festival) and "Brother Deyan" (competition program at the Locarno Film Festival). She is also one of the screenwriters for Klim Shipenko's box office hit "The Challenge." Her feature-length directorial debut, "Hello, Mom," premiered at the 71st San Sebastian International Film Festival in the "New Directors" section. The film won a prize at the "Window to Europe" festival, with the jury praising Daria Savelyeva as Best Actress. She teaches at Moscow Film College No. 40 (Screenwriting and Editing workshop).
