Born in 1968 in Moscow. Graduated from the acting department of the Shchukin Theatre School (1990) and from the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors (1996, class of V.Menshov). He has worked as theatre actor and director. Since 2004 he is a film producer. “Ivan Son of Amir” is his directorial debut.
