He studied at the School of Painting Art in Tbilisi (1953-58), at the Higher School of Industrial Art in Moscow (1961-68).
In 1973 he graduated from the television journalism course of the USSR State Broadcasting and Television Company. He worked in the Central Studio for Documentary Films (1961-70), in the "Multtelefilm" studio in "Ekran" (1970-99).
He makes films in the technique of flat and three-dimensional translation (until 1979) and drawing. He worked mainly with the artist V.M. Nazaruk.
Author and artist of several children's books.
