Born in 1959, in Tatarsk, Novosibirsk region. Spent his childhood in a Primorsky region village Chernigovka. In 1982, he graduated from the Acting Dept. of the Far-Eastern Pedagogical Institute of Arts (class of G. Rogov). Worked in Syzran’s Drama Theater until 1985, from 1985 worked in LENKOM Theater. Played lots of theatrical roles and acted in about 70 films. In 2005, got People’s Artiste title. He is a President of the Vladivostok International Film Festival Pacific Meridian.
