Plot synopsis

For decades they tested the most powerful ballistic missile in the world, a missile that the United States called "Satan". World peace depended on their professionalism and it was thanks to their sacrificial work that the Cold War did not become hot. Where are these heroes of Baikonur today? What exploits did they have to accomplish to save the prestige of the country? And why were they so quickly forgotten?
Our film tells the dramatic fate of these "tamers" of "satans".
