This film traces the personal and artistic life of this duo of theatre directors: Henrietta Yanovskaya and Kama Ginkas. For thirty years they have been building an original theatre, not only for themselves and their actors, but also for their hundreds of loyal spectators. This theatre is called "Moscow Theatre of the Young Spectator". This film is a family portrait inside the theatre and outside of time.
