The film is about a twelve-year-old girl who comes to St. Petersburg from Uzbekistan with her mother and grandmother, and tells about the difficulties she faces on the path of adaptation to a new culture. Mavjouda is faced with a choice: is it worth giving up her native language and culture, or is it better to find her place in a world she does not understand.
