Plot synopsis
In a small, lost town, everyone is asleep. Not only the young wife of the headmaster who runs the pharmacy is asleep. She has already gone to bed three times but she can't sleep. Suddenly, in the silence of the night, footsteps are heard! The silhouettes of two officers in white appear in front of the window. Then the doorbell rings and the pharmacist, all moved, opens the door to the officers. And soon around the table they are drinking wine together and the pharmacist understands the tragedy of her existence...
