This is the story of a strange priest who didn't earn any money at all. He slept on the floor, hitchhiked. A long time ago he and his friends went to Karelia and built a church there.
Some called Father Arkadi a punk priest, others a hippie priest. Indeed he once had a hippie period, then he left Moscow to go to a lost village in Karelia and built a church there. Gradually this lost village began to attract many people: poets, painters, bums, drug addicts in withdrawal, musicians, writers, delinquents, photographers. Father Arkadi was a priest of the generation of the 90s and in a way reflected the fate of this generation. It had all started with freedom and a permanent party, and what had it come to? Was it all over or had the "Party" become something else?
