"Knots" is Oleg Khamokov's first feature film that he shot in the Kabardian language.
The film tells the relationship between a middle-aged man, the long-distance truck driver Berda, and the young Dina, 17, his fiancée. Together they build the biggest house in the village which must become the symbol of Berda's superiority over the other villagers. And gradually the spouses notice that their house looks more and more like an impregnable fortress.
