Denis Lisov is a father who raises three daughters alone on
the outskirts of Khabarovsk. After an unsuccessful attempt to
emigrate to Sweden, experiencing the drama of family
breakdown (Denis’s wife fell ill with a serious mental illness
and left the family), an illegal escape with children to Poland
and a series of lawsuits, the father and children are back at
home. Their way of life is gradually getting better, but the
memories of the experience often knock the protagonists out
of the usual rhythm of life.
