The “Godfather” of the city, Leonid Boytsov, returns home from another “business trip.” The large family welcomes him with a party, but there are also issues that need to be resolved immediately. In a large dark office, Leonid meets with people and listens to their problems.
A local restaurateur also comes to him to sort things out with his partner, chef Giacomo. The Italian took the money, but is in no hurry to open a restaurant. Therefore, the restaurateur wants to return the investment and get out of business. Leonid promises to resolve the issue. But having made friends with Giacomo, he “buys out” the restaurateur’s share and pompously opens Vesuvius, not suspecting that he has fallen into a trap that will change his life and test the strength of his family...
