In Dolomite and Ashe", the young Russian filmmaker Dina makes a film about Stalinist oppression and the intergenerational trauma that still affects Russia. With her friend Johan, a German sound designer whose father disappeared in the Soviet Union during the World War II, she goes in search of the labor camps of the era. The areas around the Gulag camps are virtually deserted, but still bear the scars of the people who died here. the two of them, their relationship is also put to the test.
