Grishka is a sambo wrestler, studying in the sixth grade at a famous Moscow sports school. His main rival is Alyosha Vardanin, he is in love with Irochka, who studies at the same level with them and sympathizes with Grisha. Alyosha lives in a luxurious country house, his parents are well off, their son must be the best of the best - he has no right to mistakes and imperfections. Grishka's father, on the contrary, instills in his son such concepts as honor, dignity, courage and justice. On the eve of a serious competition at a sports school, Grishka's father has an accident and ends up in intensive care. Meanwhile, Alyosha is trying with all his might to eliminate his competitor.
