History of the magazine "Youth".
"Yunost" is a Soviet , then Russian literary and artistic illustrated magazine for young people. It has been published in Moscow since 1955 .
The magazine was founded on the initiative of Valentin Kataev , who became its first editor-in-chief.
Until 1991, the magazine was the organ of the Union of Writers of the USSR , later it became an independent publication.
