Morse code is the fetal heartbeat signal heard by a gynecologist during an ultrasound examination of one of the patients who came for a referral for an abortion. The fates of three heroines - student Lida, who survived rape, lawyer Olga, who cannot give birth because of cancer treatment, and doctor Shura, who had an abortion in her youth and does not have children because of this - are strangely connected. After all, all of them at one time faced the problem of choice: to give birth or to have an abortion?
