Having left big aviation, pilot Vyacheslav Lazarev and his family move to the outback, where he continues to fly, but now on a small propeller-driven AN-2. And the Lazarevs' life goes on as usual, until one day a little bear cub bursts into it, whom Kolya, the pilot's son, nicknames Mansur. When the clubfoot is kidnapped by local poachers, his faithful shepherd dog Palma comes to his aid. Two animals need to find their way home through a forest full of wild animals, hunters and other dangers. And the Lazarevs, who set out to find their four-legged friends, will have to remember what it means to be a real family.
