Plot synopsis
Anna Betskaya is an energetic woman, she is also a doctor of great reputation that her colleagues often come to consult in difficult cases. She has very little time to devote to Nikolai, her husband who is a civil servant and often has to spend his evenings alone at home.
One day, Nikolai pays attention to Yuzia, a waitress in a café. They see each other several times and talk. One evening he accompanies her home, a few months later she is expecting a baby from him. The delivery is not going well and Nikolai wants to help her. He calls his wife who discovers that her husband is the father of the baby. After the delivery which goes well, Anna asks her husband to take care of Yuzia and the baby. She does not need him. But Nikolai who still loves his wife cannot bear this situation.
