A fantastic animated film based on the novel by Alexander Pushkin and the opera by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, created using a unique author's technique: frame-by-frame processing of playing pieces on glass using light painting.
Barry, a renowned animated film director, has been enamored with Pushkin's world since childhood and dreams of making a film based on the novel "Eugene Onegin." Illness has disrupted his priorities, and the director, accompanied by his favorite cat, flies to Russia. In the magical Hotel Onegin, everything is ready for an immersion in Pushkin's world. The film is dedicated to puppet director Barry Purvis.
