Plot synopsis

The sixth episode of the documentary series "Historical Chronicles" with Nikolai Svanidze is dedicated to 1906, Alexander Blok and the poetry of the Silver Age. It was in this year that Blok wrote his famous "Stranger". The culmination of the poet's life drama, associated with his wife, Lyubov Mendeleyeva, and his friend, the poet Andrei Bely, also dates back to this time.
However, the series is not limited to 1906. It tells about many mysteries from the life of the great poet. The viewer will learn details about Blok's work in the Extraordinary Commission created by the Provisional Government. For the first time, unique documents from the last year of Blok's life will be presented, from which it becomes clear who is to blame for the poet's death.
