Plot synopsis

In 1936, a year before his death, Marshal of the Soviet Union Mikhail Nikolaevich Tukhachevsky was passing through Paris. He was heading to Russia, returning from the funeral of the English King George V.
In the capital of France, the marshal met with his fellow soldiers. The fantastic nature of this situation is that Tukhachevsky, a former second lieutenant in the tsarist army and now a hero of the Civil War and deputy people's commissar, communicated in Paris with white émigrés - officers of the Semenovsky Life Guards Regiment, who fought under the command of Kornilov, Denikin and Wrangel. Moreover, during this meeting, Mikhail Tukhachevsky told his friends from his youth: "I lost..."
It was the Civil War, in which he took the side of the Reds, that made Tukhachevsky a famous military leader. Through the prism of his military biography, presenter Nikolai Svanidze tries to understand both the events of this war and the mysteries of the tragic fate of one of the first marshals of the Soviet Union.
