Earth is concerned about incidents at the Margoo space base. Over the course of three days, several ships with crews have disappeared without a trace. The Council of the Space Research Institute decides to temporarily ban all space flights. Meanwhile, on a small asteroid in the Third Ring, two fellow astronauts yearn for Earth: veteran pilot Kun and Captain Daniel Lanyi. The pilot is waiting for his son, whom he hasn't seen for many years and to whom he would like to show Earth. Daniel, bored by his job, dreams of a warm island where his girlfriend awaits him. But their plans are destined to fail.
