An animated film based on the stories "Foster Child" and "Raspberry Hills" by D.N. Mamin-Sibiryak. This is the story of two lonely old men with different attitudes toward nature. One believes that in the taiga, by right of the strong, everything around him belongs to him, and therefore he can take it all. The other believes that humans are guests in this world who should behave accordingly and not hurt any living being, but find happiness in unity with nature.
