A film about Pavel Kushnir, a musician who refused to compromise, both in art and in conscience. Pavel was a “great little man,” as his friends say. He played divine music for two grandmothers in an empty concert hall with the same dedication with which he could have played at Carnegie Hall, wrote incredible novels, and was not afraid to protest, knowing that they would come for him. He died in 2024 in a prison in Birobidzhan.
