Note :
The film "Spring" forms a trilogy with the films "Summer" and "Autumn", an adaptation of Oscar Luts' cycle of short stories dedicated to the parish of Paounver in Estonia.

Plot synopsis
A film adaptation of Oskar Luts’s first book about the village of Paunvere and its inhabitants.
A new student, Arno Tali, arrives at the parish school. He is seated at the same desk as Joosep Toots, a notorious prankster and troublemaker. Toots’s constant antics have made him a local celebrity. All attempts to discipline the troublemaker with a cane and a scolding come to nothing. Only Teacher Laur, who prefers the power of persuasion in his educational work, is able to calm Toots down. And even then, only for a short while…
