Valentina Saar, a former resident of a children’s home, gave birth to a child and, in order to ensure a secure future for her son, eventually resorted to robbery. She was tried and sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment. Hoping that at least her child might have some luck in this wretched life, she gave up her son. The boy was adopted by a well-off family, and she was grateful to fate. Now, having been released from prison, Valentina decides to get her son back, and once again resorts to blackmail and theft. However, during the long-awaited visit, Valentina decides not to ruin her child’s life and abandons her plan.
