Sandra, a young writer, is launching her debut novel, *Snow is Falling*, in Paris. Among the guests, she meets a stranger who reminds her of a mystery from her past. In search of answers, she flies to St Petersburg, where she finds her exact double — Sasha, who works in a bookshop and dreams of becoming a writer. The meeting of these doppelgängers may lead to unexpected consequences.
