The 1920s in adjarie. In a village a kid inadvertently kills the hen of his neighbor. Because of this, the two neighbors will take revenge from each other to death. The young people of each family take part in the conflict but they entered Komsomol and their comrades prevented them from engaging in terrible reprisals. However, a young person is killed during an exchange of shots and the situation of coming to the extreme. In the fall the two protagonists, the victim's brother and the murderer's brother, enter the institute. And again the members of Komsomol succeed in reconciling enemies not only at the Institute but also at home in Adjarie. Relations between the two families have appeased.
