A historical reminder of the fascination exerted on men by the red planet, its characteristics as well as the theoretical knowledge that we had about it in 1968 (including the probable existence of plants, perhaps animal life or a vanished civilization) and finally the conquest of the planet by the Soviet Union (in fact first a dog in the great Russian tradition then man).
