A biographical film dedicated to the life and work of the Ukrainian singer Solomia Kruchelnitskaya (1873 - 1952) who had an exceptionally beautiful and powerful voice. From 1893 to 1939, she performed in opera houses in Europe and the United States. She returned to her country in 1939. The film is based on real events from the singer's life, shown as memories she evokes. The songs are performed by Gisèle Tsipola.
