Secret Service agent Andrei Gromov had been given the task of infiltrating the criminal world twelve years ago. He had to pretend to be a bandit and go to prison to establish ties with the criminal world. So he was accused of robbing a bank and killing the security guard and one of the employees. The victim was also pregnant and happened to be the wife of police inspector Frolov. The organizer of the infiltration, National Security Commander Pyotr Dobrov, had promised Gromov that the secret services would take care of getting him out of prison after two or three years. But the situation suddenly changed: the commissioner ordered the operation to be canceled as ineffective. And Gromov was deliberately forgotten...
After serving his entire sentence, Andrei regained his freedom with only one desire: to take revenge on those who had left him in prison. A real manhunt was organized against him, but liquidating a former secret agent who had not wasted his time in prison turned out to be not easy at all...
