The screenplay for this film was co-written by the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov, whose works often confront the realities of Kyrgyz life with the contribution of modern civilizations, including philosophical ones. Here he tells us the story of a tribe wandering in the desert in search of the meaning of their lives. The truth is hidden somewhere beyond the horizon, towards a place in the world where those who survive converge - or rather those who wish to continue living.
