Plot synopsis
Four old friends, who had led their professional and personal lives with energy and success, shared the same passion for music and spent all their free time in the choir of the palace of culture of the company "Red Chimney". But the political upheavals had led to a very sad time: our inseparable friends were no longer in touch with this new society. Anna had become a cleaning lady for "new Russians", Lisa sold various goods on the markets, Marie sold newspapers in the pedestrian underpasses. As for Liouba, she had decided to sell her apartment in order to survive. But a dishonest notary, taking advantage of the over-confident Liouba, managed to dispossess her of her apartment without paying her. Faced with adversity, the friends decided not to give up and declared a merciless war on the businessman, the new owner. With extraordinary intrigues, using their connections, new and old, and strong in their imagination, they made life impossible for the impostor and ended up driving him out of the place. They were, it is true, well helped by a brave general determined, like them, to repair the flagrant injustice. More united than ever by their new and incredible adventures, renewing their old passion for singing, the four friends performed with immense success under the name of "Choeur des Vieilles Rosses" at the Théâtre des Variétés.
