Artiom Semenov is a policeman who is completely devoted to his work to the detriment of his family life.
In town, after a long absence, a dangerous criminal nicknamed "The Bear" reappears. Ariom and his friends finally manage to arrest him.
The bandit manages to escape by killing Petrovitch, a friend of Semion. The latter is accused of having organized the bandit's escape. He is dismissed and becomes an "A.C." (Former Collaborator) abandoned by his friends. One day he meets "The Bear" and learns who is the author of the plot that led to the death of his friend and his accusation!
