Plot synopsis
After the collapse of the USSR, the former Union republics and the people living in them have experienced different fates. The main hero of the film, a Russian once a citizen of the Soviet Union and now a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic, tries to live with dignity, or rather, to survive in the new post-Soviet reality.
