Cinematic research of the artistic practice of a certain activism (interventions in the public sphere) as confrontations between today's art and everyday life. The film examines the historical premises of this movement and its succession in the contemporary cultural process. The story of the group "Pussy Riot" is the basis of the subject. The film shows that this activism as a phenomenon is at the crossroads of art, history and politics. In the actions of "Pussy Riot" we can see the continuation of the centuries-old Russian tradition of "yurodivy"; "innocents" who were not afraid to tell the unpleasant truth even to the tsars. The art of the Russian avant-garde drew its inspiration from icons, and in the bright colors of the clothes of "Pussy Riot" we find the symbols of Casimir Malevich's Suprematism.
