Plot synopsis
Finding out the weather forecast is very easy: just one click on your phone, tablet or computer is enough. Few people at that moment will think about how this information gets to our screens. Where and how do the forecasts come from? The old ship “Mikhail Somov” follows the Northern Sea Route from Archangelsk to Wrangel Island. For members of polar expeditions, it is the only link with land. Once a year, the “Mikhail Somov” brings provisions, fuel and precision instruments to the weather station.
