The subject of the film is borrowed from one of the tales from the collection "Where it comes from" by the well-known poet, writer and translator Grigory Kruzhkov. The beetle's view of the world differs little from the subjective view of man. At the end of the film we understand that the beetles are mistaken, but their story is sympathetic and reassuring for the beetles.
