Plot synopsis

Today the topic of children adopted from marginalized people has become fashionable. Newspapers talk about it and television programs are broadcasting on this subject. What drives adults to adopt children, especially when these children are sick and, in the opinion of society, need to be treated in specialized institutions? Do all future adoptive parents realize the problems they will have to face? In our film we tell the story of two adoptive families: that of Nadezhda Appolat who took into her family Lera, a little girl suffering from caudal regression of the spine, and Olga Zaitseva who became the adoptive mother of Sasha, a child suffering from hydrocephalus.
