In 2012, in the heart of the Yamal Peninsula, the Bovanenko gas industrial complex operates. Indigenous tribes of reindeer herders pass through this industrial zone, as it is the only road leading to the summer pastures towards the Karsk Sea. This is the story of people whose destiny is closely linked to the lands on which they live, keeping the traditions of their ancestors, but their future and even their present are increasingly fragile and uncertain with the arrival of civilization.
