Plot synopsis
The film tells the story of the events that took place on August 12, 1944, when German soldiers of the 16th SS Division shot almost 600 people in the Italian village of Sant'Anna di Stazzema. This massacre was kept quiet for 50 years. And all the documents concerning these crimes were locked away in the cabinet of the Rome public prosecutor's office, which historians later called the Cabinet of Shame.
