The hero of the series is called Pyotr Lutchnikov. He is a diplomat from a line of diplomats and he has always known how to solve a communication problem and get an agreement. However, he has not succeeded in his professional life. Although he inherits a very influential family, the man has remained on the fringes of the profession. He decides to apply his diplomatic skills to his personal life, but creates a situation that ends up trapping him: the most patient of women could not bear so many lies. Now Luchnikov plans to start his life over. He tries to become a good and honest man, but he will probably have a hard time achieving it.
