Plot synopsis
The film tells the story of six young female combatants from the female sapper battalion and their very strict commander Vasiliev. The war took a lot of things from them but could not take away the essential: kindness and humanity, the faculty to believe, to laugh, to love.
The film is based on real events that took place during the Great Patriotic War (WWII).
