In 1986 he graduated from the Saratov Art College named after A.P. Bogolyubov (in the specialties of "sculptor-performer" and "drawing teacher"). Since 1987 he worked at the Children's Art School as a teacher, in 1988-90 - in a private studio as a sculpture teacher. In 1981-96 he worked at the Saratov Academic Drama Theater named after K. Marx as an artist-designer and prop master. Simultaneously since 1990 - production designer and animator at the studio "Saratovtelefilm". In 1996 he finished combining teaching activities with his main profession - animator. He starred in the documentary series "Factory of Miracles" (episode "Production designer", 2006) and "Weightless Life" (2006).
