There are unique people in the small towns and villages of Russia who, despite the circumstances, try to improve life around them. Some after work build an ice rink in a backyard and teach children to play hockey, others do not let local crafts and cultural traditions perish, still others raise adopted children and others save lonely elders. The participants of the film project differ in age and nationality, they have different professions and living conditions, they are surrounded by different environments - from extreme tundra to a small town. But one thing unites them: they change the world around them.
