Plot synopsis

The old man’s last wish – to fulfill the Kazakh tradition and put his grandson on a stallion – is shattered by everyday life, bureaucracy and loneliness, remaining unfulfilled. The music of Johann Bach on the dombra emphasizes pain and hope.
