Plot synopsis
Late 1940s. Mikhail Krasnitsky, who collaborated with the Germans during the war, passes himself off as a Jew and leads a quiet life near Rostov with his beloved wife Riva. When Michael and Riva's firstborn dies, the hero takes it as a sign from above. Under the guise of business trips, the hero begins to roam the cities of the USSR, where in cold blood, for some obscure reason, he commits murders.
