Plot synopsis
A simple guy from the Soviet Sverdlovsk, Volodya Mulyavin, dreams of creating his own group, not noticing the ridicule of his peers and the protest of his mother. The dream comes true unexpectedly. Thanks to his talented guitar playing, Volodya quickly gains popularity among his colleagues in the military unit in Belarus and creates the Pesnyary vocal ensemble, which becomes the most popular Soviet band of the 1970s.
