A story about the life of the great commander-in-chief Georgy Konstantinovich Zhukov from June 1945 to 1974. During his lifetime, Zhukov’s name became overgrown with rumors and legends.
After the war, he gained enormous popularity in the army and in the country. This was precisely the reason for the persecution of the Marshal by Stalin. He was sent to command the Odessa Military District, then the Ural. After Stalin's death he returned to Moscow and participated in the arrest of Beria. But already in 1957 he was expelled from the party’s Central Committee, removed from all posts and in 1958 dismissed.
However, all these difficulties did not break his spirit, he did not change his principles. There were three beloved women in the marshal’s life: his wife Alexandra Dievna, who bore him two daughters, Lydia Zakharova, with whom the relationship lasted 9 years, and Galina Semenova, the last and strongest love of his life, the mother of his youngest daughter Maria.
